The front-accessible ACM™-1200
DC Power System combines C&D TECHNOLOGIES
Advanced Cellular Modular rectifiers, modular
circuit breaker distribution, an optional compact
intelligent monitor/controller, optional dc-dc
converters, and optional C&D valve-regulated,
lead-calcium batteries to provide redundant, reliable
and compact power distribution in cellular sites.
Features and Benefits
- Modular switched-mode rectifier modules are
hot swappable and lightweight which allows low
mean time repair (MTTR) without system shutdown.
- Individual ac inputs to each rectifier assure
reliability of ac source.
- Up to four 24V
150-ampere rectifiers per shelf result in
more output in less space.
- Active power factor correction greater than
0.99 and efficiency of 86 percent means lower
operating costs.
- Front access on all major connections allow
for installation in confined locations.
- Advanced modular distribution options allow
for field additions without losing system integrity.
- Optional low-voltage disconnect provides a
method to automatically disconnect the system
load to protect the battery from deep discharge.
